Little Brother Post-Reading

"My subconscious kept visiting me with ghosts in the hopes that I would do something to let them rest in peace." In Little Brother means that all Marcus or M1k3y does is just because of his past problems. He started the Xnet to stop the Homeland Security from spying on him and others like him, because he was captured. Marcus changed his screen name because the Homeland Security might find him, because Benson which is his vice principal found out. He was scared when Ange knew he was M1k3y. He almost crossed the border and went into hiding, to get away from Homeland Security.
Marcus found out about the bug when he was doing a repair for his charger and figured the bug was from Homeland Security. He then picked out his Xbox Universal and put in a ParanoidXbox disc. He then gave out ParanoidXbox discs to people who then gave out ParanoidXbox discs
Marcus changed his screen name from W1n5t0n to M1k3y, because his vice principal, Benson, figured out that he was W1n5t0n, who gave out cheat sheets on a big test. He was even more afraid when Ange figured out that he was M1k3y because if she found out, anyone could.
Marcus tried to cross the border with someone, but he jumped out and padlocked the escape truck on his acquaintance’s fingers and ran to his friend, Zeb. Zeb and Marcus went undercover for one night before he was captured again.
Marcus wanted to get back at Homeland Security for kidnapping Darryl. He told Darryl’s father, his father, his mother, and a reporter. Because of this Homeland Security was overrun by the California National Guard.
Marcus did all of the events in novel because of his past demons. Like make an entire protected internet, or make a new username.

  1. I love the extensive details you have included from the text, but honestly, it feels like you are simply listing these details. It would be a more complete blog if you would explain the events more specifically in relation to the text. While you have an interesting writer's voice, remember that this is a blog that other's will also read for comprehension. Grade: 85%
